On January 28, 2008, the Police Permit Review Panel held a public meeting at Hamilton High School to hear from the South Robertson neighborhood. Over 600 community members attended.
At the hearing, the No Robertson Strip Club Committee presented its report to the Hearing Examiner. In the report, the Committee details its reasons for strongly opposing the granting of the club’s operating permit. Should the Permit Review Panel grant a permit, however, the report also includes an extensive list of recommended restrictions to be placed on the club’s operation.

Next Steps
The report, along with the Hearing Examiner’s own recommendations, will be presented to the full Review Panel in the coming weeks. At that meeting the Panel will vote on whether to grant the final operating permit (along with any restrictions). The public will be invited to attend, and it’s important that your voice be heard.
