The Los Angeles Police Commission’s Police Permit Review Panel will hold a public hearing about the proposed strip club in December. The exact date has not yet been set.
It is critical that before the hearing, the community sends as many letters as possible opposing the issuance of the club’s Cafe and Show Entertainment Permit. If you send a letter, the Police Commission will mail you a hearing notification when the date has been set.
Your letter counts
Even if you’re previously signed a petition, please send a letter, too. We’ve provided three letter templates in Microsoft Word format to get you started. Feel free to download the one that fits you best and modify however you like. This is a time-sensitive issue, so if possible, mail your letter ASAP—and urge your friends and neighbors to send letters, too.
